YG also pointed out that Lisa “did not show any special symptoms”

Rosé, Jennie and Jisoo of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK tested negative for COVID-19.

YG Entertainment announced in a statement to Sports Donga that these three K-pop idols received negative results in a PCR test conducted yesterday (November 24). Yesterday afternoon, after their colleague Lisa was diagnosed with the coronavirus, the three were tested.

The entertainment company also pointed out that Lisa's health is "good" and that according to the positive diagnosis of COVID-19 translated by Soompi, she "does not show any special symptoms." It added: “All four members of BLACKPINK have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.”

"The company and our artists have been paying special attention to our health and safety through regular pre-emptive testing," YG said. "We hope Lisa will recover as soon as possible. We will continue to seriously cooperate with the health authorities' epidemiological investigations and take all possible measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19."

According to the "Star" report on November 24, according to reports, Rose has also cancelled his upcoming public appearances and has entered a state of self-isolation. However, on the same day, YG later pointed out in a statement that the singer had not been “classified as [a] close contacts” but did not speak about her so-called self-isolation.

According to South Korea’s current COVID-19 guidelines, according to the Korea Herald, unvaccinated people who have been in close contact with COVID-19 positive must self-isolate for 10 days after they test negative for PCR. At the same time, vaccinated people will be exempt from self-isolation.

BLACKPINK's Lisa is the latest K-pop celebrity who has tested positive for COVID-19 in recent months. Earlier this year, JinJin of the boy group ASTRO and Dreamcatcher's Gahyeon was diagnosed with the coronavirus, which caused their respective teams to enter self-isolation.
