President Joko Widodo has allowed children under 18 years of age to travel back and forth without the conditions for a COVID-19 booster vaccine and a COVID-19 antigen or PCR test.As is known, the COVID-19 booster vaccine is a condition for being free to go home for Eid.However, the group of children under 18 years old has not received permission from the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM RI) to receive the COVID-19 booster vaccine because data on the safety of related vaccinations is not yet available. The policy of free COVID-19 booster vaccination and antigen and PCR tests was previously conveyed by the Indonesian Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin."Teenagers who haven't been boosted are okay, if going home doesn't need to be tested for antigen so they can accompany their parents to go home without the need for tests and antigens," said the Minister of Health in an online press conference, Monday (18/4/2022).The COVID-19 Task Force has officially released the terms and conditions for children under 18 to be free of COVID-19 booster vaccination and antigen testing. It is stated in the Addendum to Circular Letter Number 16 of 2022 concerning Provisions for Travel of Domestic People during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic."The purpose of this Circular Addendum is to add provisions for special travel requirements for domestic travelers aged 6-17 who have received the second dose of vaccine," said the contents of the Addendum signed by Lt.
