OTTAWA COUNTY, MI – Ottawa and Allegan counties are offering free, walk-in COVID-19 testing throughout the summer.

The testing is free and available for people who think they may have been exposed to COVID-19 or have symptoms.

While the testing doesn’t require a doctor’s order or insurance information, people are required to bring a form of identification and wear a mask. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

All testing sites will offer the PCR and rapid antigen COVID-19 tests, with samples taken via nasal swab. Rapid testing is available to people with or without symptoms.

PCR results generally take 48-72 hours to be returned, and rapid test results take about 15 to 30 minutes.

There will be four testing sites in Ottawa County and one in Allegan County open and available for walk-in testing on various days from now through the end of September.

For a full list of testing sites and what days and hours they are open, people can go to: https://www.miottawa.org/Health/OCHD/covid-19-testing-locations.htm. People can also pre-register their testing time at that link.
