Legitimate!Task Force Tightens Travel Requirements, No PCR Mandatory Booster Vaccine

The COVID-19 task force has tightened travel conditions amid a significant increase in cases.It is known, the number of patients requiring treatment is above 53 thousand, with daily cases returning at 6 thousand people.Circular Letter Number 23 of 2022 released Friday (12/8/2022) requires those who have just received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to attach a negative PCR test result.There is no option for the COVID-19 rapid test antigen as in the previous travel conditions.This rule applies to domestic travelers (PPDN) with all modes of transportation, namely air, sea, land, private or public vehicles, crossings, and intercity trains from and to regions throughout Indonesia.a.PPDN who have received the third dose of vaccination (booster) are not required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test.b.PPDN who have received the second dose of vaccination or the first dose of vaccination, must show a negative result of the RT-PCR test whose sample is taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure.c.PPDN with special health conditions or comorbid diseases that prevent travelers from receiving vaccinations are exempt from vaccination requirements, but must show a negative RT-PCR test result whose sample is taken within 3x24 hours before departure and the requirement is to attach a doctor's certificate from the hospital Government stating that the person concerned has not and/or is unable to take part in the COVID-19 vaccination.PPDN under 18 years of age using air, sea, land transportation modes using private or public vehicles, crossings, and intercity trains from and to regions throughout Indonesia, the following provisions apply:a.PPDN aged 6-17 years and have received a second dose of vaccination, are not required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test.b.PPDN aged 6-17 years and have received the first dose of vaccination, must show a negative result of rapid antigen test whose sample is taken within 1 x 24 hours or negative result of RT-PCR test whose sample is taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure .c.PPDN aged 6-17 years who come from overseas travel and have not received vaccinations, are excluded from the obligation to show a vaccination card and must show a negative rapid antigen test result whose sample is taken within 1 x 24 hours or a negative RT-PCR test result the sample is taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure.What about children with comorbidities?See on the next page.
