Rep: Dian Fath Risalah/ Red: Nora AzizahThree cases of mutation of the Indonesian Omicron B.2.75 subvariant have been reported to GISAID.REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono said a new subvariant mutation, B.2.75 has now been found in Indonesia.Until now, there have been three cases that have occurred in Indonesia due to this subvariance.Of the three cases, one case is a foreign traveler (PPLN) in Bali and two other cases come from Indonesian citizens in DKI Jakarta who are children and mothers."Last week, three cases of subvariant B.2.75 were found and we have reported them to GISAID," said Dante in Jakarta, Monday (18/7/2022).GISAID is known to be an institution created by the German Government and International Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to study viral genetic data, including studying the SARS-CoV corona virus.Dante asked the public not to worry about this new variant because the symptoms of this subvariance are not too severe.He described the character of the BA.2.75 subvariant as the Omicron variant earlier this year."All cases are simple. Not too heavy, because from some things we have learned from several countries, the character is like Omicron.
