Rep: Dian Fath Risalah/ Red: Nora AzizahThree cases of mutation of the Indonesian Omicron B.2.75 subvariant have been reported to GISAID.REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono said a new subvariant mutation, B.2.75 has now been found in Indonesia.Until now, there have been three cases that have occurred in Indonesia due to this subvariance.Of the three cases, one case is a foreign traveler (PPLN) in Bali and two other cases come from Indonesian citizens in DKI Jakarta who are children and mothers."Last week, three cases of subvariant B.2.75 were found and we have reported them to GISAID," said Dante in Jakarta, Monday (18/7/2022).GISAID is known to be an institution created by the German Government and International Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to study viral genetic data, including studying the SARS-CoV corona virus.Dante asked the public not to worry about this new variant because the symptoms of this subvariance are not too severe. He described the character of the BA.2.75 subvariant as the Omicron variant earlier this year."All cases are simple. Not too heavy, because from some things we have learned from several countries, the character is like Omicron. The emergency is not too big, the hospitality is not too big and the severity is not too big," said Dante."So don't worry about BA 275, because its character is almost the same as BA 4, BA. 5 and BA.1, BA.2," he continued.Previously, Epidemiologist from Griffith University, Dicky Budiman, said that this variant, also known as 'Centaurus', is very likely to have entered Indonesia."It is very possible that it is already in Indonesia," said Dicky to Republika.co.id.He said this variant is more similar to the Omicron BA.5 subvariant. However, this BA.2.75 subvariant is easier to infect the body and has the potential to reduce antibody efficacy.Dicky added, this variant is called attacking infection or respiratory symptoms. In fact, this variant is said to be undetectable by PCR or rapid antigen tests in Switzerland. The new Covid-19 subvariant is more worrying, the symptoms can be differentAlready a Booster, Hypertension Can Still Increase the Severe Risk of Covid-19Study Reveals How the Covid-19 Virus Can Enter the BrainDoctor Describes the Characteristics of Quality Husband and Wife ActivitiesWeekend Only Exercise, Is It Effective?Cheerful expressions can be seen on the faces of the participants who are enthusiastic about participating in a series of events such as face painting, drawing together, to art workshopsBKOT is routinely held with the aim of providing an explanation of non-academic academic activitiesThe return of Abraham and Yudha certainly gives confidence to PrawiraBSI expresses its gratitude to parents who entrust their sons and daughtersThe SssTikTok application is often used by content creators.Phone: 021 780 3747 Fax: 021 799 7903 Email: newsroom@rol.republika.co.id (Editor) sekretariat@republika.co.id (Editor) marketing@republika.co.id (Marketing)Copyright © 2018 Republika.co.id, All right reserved
