Passengers need to book and pay for COVID-19 PCR testing upon arrival in the UK. They need to fill out a passenger location form, which should be completed within 48 hours before they arrive in the UK.

If you are in the UK for less than 2 days, you still need to book and pay for the Covid-19 test for the second day. You must isolate at home or wherever you live until you receive a negative test result, or until you leave the UK, whichever is earlier. If your PCR test result is negative or 14 days have passed (whichever comes first), you can end the quarantine.

If your test result is positive, you must self-quarantine for 10 days. The test date is day 0. If your test results are not clear, you must self-quarantine for 10 days. The day you took the exam was day 0.

If your PCR test results are delayed, you must be quarantined until you receive a negative test result or the 14th day after arrival, whichever is earlier.

To be eligible for the full vaccination rules for travel to the UK, you must have proof of a full course of treatment with the approved vaccine.

Therefore, if travelers only have an Indian vaccination certificate, they may be denied entry to the event or facility. It is recommended to check in advance whether they can travel under the new restrictions by contacting their organizer or checking the website of the event they plan to participate in.

People who are vaccinated with Covaxin or any other vaccine not approved by the Paul Ehrlich Institute must carry a negative PCR test report, which must not exceed 72 hours when entering Germany.
